PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately convert amount data displayed on a web page of a personal computer into amount data of the currency unit of a desired country. ;SOLUTION: Currency conversion units are set in advance with a personal computer connectable to the Internet. When amount data to be converted are indicated by operating a mouse when the amount data in various currency units on the web page on the Internet are desired to be converted into amount data of the currency unit, e.g. of a self-country, necessary conversion calculations are performed and obtained converted amount data are displayed on the same page. In such a case, a used exchange conversion rate is appropriately updated by accessing a prescribed server on the Internet, and therefore, the amount data displayed on the web page can be easily and accurately converted into the amount data of the currency unit of the desired country.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
