PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audience rating researching device which is capable of doing an audience rating research. ;SOLUTION: Image signals inputted into this audience rating researching device through an input 1 are outputted as horizontal synchronizing pules (H. SYNC Pulse) and vertical synchronizing pulses (V. SYNC pulse) corresponding to the image signals of STB from a synchronizing separator circuit to an MPU 252. Image signals outputted from the VIDEO OUTPUT terminal of an analog data selector are inputted into the input 2 of a comparison unit 200. The image signals inputted through the input 2 are outputted from the synchronizing separator circuit to the MPU 252 as horizontal synchronizing pulses and vertical synchronizing pulses corresponding to the image signals from the analog data selector. Image/voice signals watched by subscribers and image/voice signals received by a STB are synchronously compared with each other to detect an audience rating.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
