Use of surface-coated rutile modification TiO2 pigments as an anticorrosive white pigment

The use of surface-coated rutile modification TiO₂ pigments having a primary particle grain size d₅₀ of 0.1 to 1.0 &mgr;m as an anticorrosive white pigment, with firstly magnesium phosphate and secondly aluminum oxides and/or aluminum hydroxides being precipitated onto the TiO₂ pigments, is described.
