The present invention relates to a dosage form for combinatorial chemistry in conventional organic and inorganic synthesis, analytical chemistry, parallel synthesis, and blending synthesis, which at least one solid reagent dispenses and which is in the form of a compressed tablet, wherein each of the tablets comprises substantially the same predetermined amount of at least one of the above. embedded in a polymer matrix from the reagent, the polymer matrix contains insoluble polymer beads in the solvent of the proposed synthesis, and the tablet is disintegrated in said solvent, thereby dispersing the polymer beads in the solvent, and less than one reagent being released. The polymer beads forming the matrix can be easily separated by reagent filtration in the dosage form, so that they can be separated from the soluble product formed. To produce the dosage form, beads of one or more polymers are blended with the reagents and are compressed into tablets after pretreatment with an aprotic organic solvent. HE
