The current take-off (1a,1b) uses brushes for contacting a current rail profile (2) provided with current conductors (5) coupled to a current source and has a first frame part directly or indirectly coupled to the crane and a second frame part supporting the brushes, which is provided with wheels, with coupling springs between the frame parts biasing them together. The coupling springs can be provided by rolled springs (10a-10d) each having a roll axis parallel to the displacement direction (A) of the current take-off.
