The memory recorder (1) with several texts and alarm times constitutes a speaking diary for persons who have problems in remembering appointments and obligations. It comprises a processor (2) which on the one hand is connected to a clock (3) and a time-based memory (4) with space for ten or twenty time slots and on the other hand is connected to a text-based memory (5) with space for ten or twenty spoken messages, each labelled with a discriminating code. The processing has an outlet with a digital/analog converter (6) for a loudspeaker or ear telephone (7) and an input for a function block (8) with an on/off button ''on'', a call-up button ''F'' and an acceptance button ''G''. A program unit (11) has a processor (12), to which an analog/digital converter (13) is connected with a microphone (14), in order to convert spoken texts into a digital form, a keyboard (15) with ten numerical keys and two plus eight function keys and a liquid crystal display window (16). The processor feeds the one memory (4) with labelled alarm times and the other memory (5) with labelled texts.
