Interleukin 17-like receptor protein nucleic acid sequence encoding the interleukin receptor protein and method of expressing protein in recombinant vector

Isolated nucleic acid molecules, which encode the human IL17RLP (interleukin-17 receptor like protein) protein, are used in recombinant vectors. Methods of making such vectors and suitable host cells for the production of IL17RLP protein are described. Screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of IL17RLP activity are also described, as are diagnostic methods for detecting immune system-related disorders and therapeutic methods for treating immune system-related disorders.
