Chemical procedure for the determination of fish meal falsification with some other feeds of animal origin is in fact a procedure that can be applied for quality control of livestock feed in order to determine falsification of fish meal by mixing an animal feed of lower value into fish meal. The procedure is based on the existence of the differences in in vitro levels of protein digestibility of fish meal, this is, meat-bone meal meal from hydrolized feather of some other animal feed, with the differences of in vitro protein digestibility of animal feeds being higher if the feed is subjected to the investigation in a series of acid solutions (0,075 mol/L HCl) of pepsine with lower concentrations (0.2%, 0.002% and 0.0002%) than standard prescribed concentration (0.2%). The value of in vitro digestibility of animal feed in acid solution (0.075 mol/L HCl) of pepsin in concentration of 0.0002% is relevant for determination of fish meal falsification.;Hemijski postupak za utvrdjivanje falsifikovanja ribljeg brana drugim hranivima animalnog porekla je postupak primenjiv u kontroli kvaliteta hrane za ivotinje radi utvrdjivanja falsifikovanja ribljeg brana umeavanjem nekog nievrdnog animalnog hraniva u riblje brano. Postupak je zasnovan na postojanju razlika u nivoima in vitro svarljivosti proteina ribljeg brana, odnosno mesno-kotanog, brana od hidrolizovanog perja ili nekog drugog animalnog hraniva, pri emu razlike u in vitro svarljivosti proteina animalnih hraniva postaju vee ukoliko se hranivo podvrgava ispitivanju u seriji kiselih rastvora (0,075 mol/L HCl) pepsina niih koncentracija (0,2%, 0,002% i 0,0002%) od standardno propisane koncentracije (0,2%).
