New application of asphaltic membranes in reforestation, forestry and agriculture in general.Said applications are designed for the treatment and preparation of the terrain designed for a plantation, for which said membranes are extended over the pre-prepared soil, holes are perforated in said membranes and through which the seeds or plants are planted and are left to grow naturally, obtaining a development much greater than they would achieve under the same conditions in an area without said membranes.The invention is particularly useful in reforestation, forestry and agriculture in general.
