DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING AND MONITORING CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES IN A PATIENT USING MOBILE TECHNOLOGY

The system comprises a small-sized electronic device enabling reception of an ECG signal sensed under daily living conditions of a patient. Said signals are amplified, filtered and analyzed by means of algorithms intended to study parameters of interest of the electrocardiographic signal. If a serious crisis in a patient is determined by the electronic device, a mobile terminal sends an alarm along with the electrocardiogram signal to a patient management and supervision center. A bi-directional alarm management system enables said center to act consequently if a serious crisis has been detected in a patient and the center may then contact the patient, call an ambulance or hospital with the aim of providing as soon as possible care to the patient.
