Flexible lining tube for use in the reconstruction of buried, damaged pipes or pipes, in particular sewers, comprising inner and outer layers (1, 2) of plastic film material, liquid-tight and several layers ( 3-7) substantially uniform intermediates arranged successively between the inner and outer layers (1, 2) and composed, at least partially, of a fibrous material impregnated with a hardenable resin, each of said intermediate layers being formed from a strip (13), which is substantially incapable of being stretched in any direction and is folded in a flat state around a flexible tube structure, including the inner layer (1), in a closed intermediate form of flexible tube with edges (27) opposite longitudinal strips of the strip, which extend in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the sheathing tube and overlap each other í in an overlapping part (8-12) without joint, not adhered, all said intermediate flexible tube structures being arranged in the flexible coating tube with their respective overlapping zones located with mutual separation on the same side of the flexible tube of coating in its flat state, characterized in that each of said strips (13) comprises a laminated structure of first and second sub-layers (14, 15) adhered, of which said first sub-layer (14) comprises a network of fiber threads of substantially 90 ° glass of strands (16, 17) crisscrossed fiberglass planes with orientations corresponding to the longitudinal and transverse directions of the strip, while said second sublayer comprises said fibrous material in the form of fibers, of which a proportion (18) raised is oriented in said transverse direction of the strip (13) to provide a high circumferential stiffness to the sheathing tube after hardening, while another proportion (19) of the fibers is oriented in the longitudinal direction of the strip (13) to provide a desired tensile strength in the longitudinal direction of the flexible tube before hardening of said hardenable resin.
