PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION IN FORM OF COATED CAPSULE RELEASABLE AT LOWER PART OF DIGESTIVE TRACT

A pharmaceutical preparation in the form of acoated capsule which can release contents of a capsule ata lower part of the digestive tract comprising (a) a hardcapsule containing at least an acidic substance, (b) apolymer film soluble at low pH which is formed on asurface of said hard capsule, and (c) an enteric coatingfilm which is formed on a surface of said polymer filmsoluble at low pH. According to the pharmaceuticalpreparation of the present invention, any kind of amedicament can be delivered to any desired site betweenthe upper part of the small intestine and the lower partof the large intestine in the digestive tract bycontrolling the amount of polymer(s) used for the polymerfilm soluble at low pH and/or by selecting the kind of thepolymer film soluble at low pH and/or the acidic substancewithout any complicated requirements for each medicament.
