Rapid construction system for military bridges

The assembled bridge (100) has two parallel tracks over which vehicle wheels may roll. Each track consists of two tapered ramps (111,112,121,122) connected together by releasable hinges (115,125) at the bottom. The top surfaces butt together to prevent sagging of the completed span, and are covered with anti-skid material (114,124). There is a central spine (130) made in two parts (131,141), with crossmembers (132,142) which fit into holes (113,123) in the sides of the tracks.
