METHOD FOR MANAGING SIMPLE NETWORK MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL BASED NETWORK SYSTEM USING MANAGEMENT INFORMATION BASE ARRAY

PURPOSE: A method for managing an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) network using an MIB(Management Information Base) arrangement is provided to access detailed contents of more many information by managing a plurality of detailed items using one MIB in an SNMP network system. CONSTITUTION: When an SNMP message is transmitted from one entity to the other entity between an SNMP manger and an SNMP agent, a transmission-side entity unifies a plurality of detailed items of an association MIB. The transmission-side entity loads the unified data in a data field region of the SNMP message as an arrangement structure of the MIB, and transmits the SNMP message to a reception-side entity. The reception-side entity receives the SNMP message, and extracts the detailed items loaded in the data field region of the SNMP message. The reception-side entity unifies response data corresponding to the extracted detailed items, loads the unified response data in the data field region of the SNMP message as the arrangement structure of the MIB, and performs a response.
