An electronic commerce system and method for negotiating price on network

PURPOSE: An electronic commerce system through a price negotiation on a network and a method thereof are provided to decide a transaction price through a price agreement between the first client who registers a commodity to be sold or bought on a network and the second client who wishes to participate in the price agreement with respect to the registered commodity. CONSTITUTION: If the first client and the second client are connected through a network, a member authenticating stage is executed(ST100). If data of commodity to be sold or purchased and agreement environment data are inputted from the first client, the commodity data and the agreement environment data are registered in a database server as a transaction commodity(ST200). If the second client selects a commodity registered for being participated in a price agreement, an agreement window is displayed for making the second client input agreement data which suggest an amount of a price of the commodity(ST300). If agreement data are inputted from the second client, a proper agreement price is calculated based on the agreement data and the agreement environment data, compares the calculated agreement price with the agreement data, an agreement intention rate is displayed(ST400). If agreement data of each other are approved from the first and second clients(ST500), a transaction price is decided based on the approved agreement data(ST600). A transaction price decision is confirmed(ST650), and the transaction is achieved(ST800).
