PURPOSE: An information providing service method and a system for the same are provided to collect data on various new products, and to offer the collected data to a customer over an online network so that it can enhance a customer satisfaction and an advertising effect. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a web server(100), a database server(200), a data collection server(300), and a data analysis server(400). The web server(100) operates a web site for offering a service over an online network, receives an information providing request from a customer, and offers the corresponding data to the customer. The database server(200), operated in connection with the web server(100), classifies the data on the new products and conventional products, and stores the data at a database. The data collection server(300), operated in connection with the database server(200), continuously collects data on the new products from companies, and registers the collected data at the database server by using a search engine. The data analysis server(400) compares the newly collected data with conventional similar data, extracts a difference, and registers the difference data at the database server(200).
