Method for Preventing Stall of an Automobile Engine due to RPM Drop When a Clutch is Released

PURPOSE: A preventing method of an engine stall is provided to prevent the stall of an engine by calculating a release time of a clutch and the reduced amount of RPM(Revolution Per Minute) after a starting of the engine and by compensating the appropriate air flow according to the reduction of the RPM. CONSTITUTION: A temperature of coolant is detected through a water temperature sensor(S10). An oil temperature of a transmission is calculated by multiplying the detected water temperature by a certain value(S20). The calculated oil temperature is compared with a certain temperature(S30). An elapsed time after the starting is counted to set reference data when the oil temperature is under the certain temperature(S40). An RPM of an engine is detected to compensate an air flow by the reduction of the engine(S50). The detected change of the RPM is compared with a certain RPM(S60). The compensating air flow is decided according to a preset value when the detected change of the RPM is under the certain RPM(S70). The air flow is compensated and outputted according to the decided compensating value(S80). Thereby, a stall of the engine is prevented.
