HOLOGRAPHIC DIGITAL DATA STORAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DATA STORING/DECODING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system for storing holographic digital data, and a method for storing and reproducing data thereof are provided to prevent a reproduction error rate from lowering due to a decoding method using a global or local threshold. CONSTITUTION: A system for storing holographic digital data judges whether the current mode is a data recording mode(S10). A recording and reproducing unit modulates an object beam, and the modulated object beam enters a storage medium for recording reference threshold patterns(S20). An interference pattern of holographic digital data obtained by an interference between the object beam and the reference beam having the corresponding recording angle is recorded(S30). If the current mode is a data reproduction mode, the reference beam having the corresponding recording angle is applied to the storage medium for reproducing holographic digital data and the reference threshold patterns(S40-S50). The reproduced reference threshold patterns are divided according to strength, and on and off of pixels are decoded based on the holographic digital data(S60).
