PURPOSE: A high voltage impulse discharger having three pole electrode characteristics with adjustable control electrode is provided to mount an automatically or voluntarily adjustable control so that correction for abrasion of the electrode being simply and remotely controlled, thereby providing high stability, high efficiency and high reliability. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage impulse discharger having three pole electrode characteristics with adjustable control electrode comprises a sealing body(1), a copper adjustment supporter(2), four electrodes, a flange(7), an air feed pipe(8), an air guiding path(12), and a discharging circuit. The sealing body consists of insulation materials. The copper adjustment supporter has a pipe structure and adjusts a gap between electrodes. The four electrodes are arranged in two pairs as to maintain proper gap therebetween, thereby generating spark discharge to certain voltage. The gap between the electrodes is regulated by the flange for precisely adjusting the adjustment supporter. The discharging circuit is electrically connected with external source to control proper operational condition of the discharger.
