PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically controlling the real time batch call of charging material in a blast furnace is provided to solve an existing problem of standing by for long time after batch call as raw materials being charged by calculating total time for charging in a blast furnace per each ore types before batch call. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a charging level measuring part (40) measuring the level of a charging material in a blast furnace and supplying the measured data to a programmable logic controller; a charging time measuring part (70) introducing the raw material discharged from a relay vessel into charging hoppers (11,11') and measuring pressure equalizing, charging and pressure relieving times per each hoppers; a charging belt conveyor raw material position detecting part generating discharging signals during discharging of the raw material from the relay vessel and informing of the position by grasping a position in which a raw material is carried on a charging belt conveyor (16); and a programmable logic controller (80) calculating data supplied from each corresponding parts for performing the most optimum charging batch call , thereby performing the most optimum real time batch call time by monitoring the total process from discharging of a raw material from the relay vessel to charging of the raw material into the blast furnace.
