Method for realizing Link-Mobility among the MSCs in Packet Data Service

PURPOSE: A method for realizing inter-exchange link mobility for a packet data service is provided to set up an inter-exchange link dependent on the mobility of an MS(Mobile Station) in the mobile communication system providing a packet data service. CONSTITUTION: Starting a packet data service, an MS(100) sets up PPP link connection with a serving PDSN(300)(S10). If the MS moves to a serving MSC-B(400) from an anchor MSC-A(500) after being transitted to a dormant state, the MS(100) requests location registration to the serving MSC-B(400)(S20). The serving MSC-B(400), sensing the location registration of the MS(100) sends a registration notification invoke map message(RegNot INV) to an HLR(600)(S30). The HLR(600) sends a registration cancellation invoke map message(RegCan INV) to the anchor MSC-A(500)(S40). If serving information for the MS(100) exists, the anchor MSC-A(500) sends a registration cancellation return result map message(RegCan RET) comprising the serving information to the HLR(600)(S50).
