Loss-checking scoop (0.25 m2 of the swathe) finds the loss by means of low, acceptable and excessive loss boxes without calculation or evaluation. The threshing losses are found by separate low, acceptable and excessive loss boxes to produce a rough result rapidly and without complications. This method is applied to 20 harvested or other fruits as tabled. The boxes are also used to find dumping losses and again the straw to chaff ratio, using the scoop for all makes of machine and for calibrating all border systems.
