The component part has a pipe section with a continuous first wall (5) which has at least one first and at least one second section, whereby in the first section an elastic corrugation is formed in the first wall and the second section is reinforced by a second wall (7). The first wall lies on the inside and the second wall on the outside, and the first wall is thinner than the second. The first and/or the second wall are multi-layered in construction. The first and the second wall at least in the contact zone are in full-faced contact with each other. Independent claims are included for an exhaust manifold which includes the aforesaid component part, and for a procedure for the manufacture of the component part.
