Herbicidal composition comprises: (A) a 4-(3-(isoxazol-3-yl)-benzoyl-pyrazolone derivative herbicide (I), and (B) at least one safener comprising 1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-methyl-2-pyrazoline-3,5-dicarboxylic acid derivatives (II) and/or 5,5-diphenyl-2-isoxazoline-3-carboxylic acid derivatives (III). Herbicidal composition comprises: (A) a 4-(3-(isoxazol-3-yl)-benzoyl-pyrazolone derivative herbicide derivative of formula (I); and (B) an antidotically effective amount of at least one safener comprising 1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-methyl-2-pyrazoline-3,5-dicarboxylic acid derivatives of formula (II) and/or 5,5-diphenyl-2-isoxazoline-3-carboxylic acid derivatives of formula (III) (including their salts or stereoisomers). R1, R7 = alkyl; R2, R4-R6 = H or alkyl; R3 = H, halo, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl or alkylsulfonyl; a = 0-3, and R8-R10 = H or 1-4C alkyl; alkyl moieties have 1-6C unless specified otherwise.
