The safety securing device (11) is held in a standby position by a removable security element (12) which when removed sets the securing device in the securing state so that the brake which interacts with same is automatically actuated. The securing device has a drive element (14) which through stored energy activates the securing device when the securing element is removed. The brake can be actuated by a brake cable (8) set in a housing (15) of the securing device.
