Device for conveying cooling lubricant mixed with solid residues, especially shavings, comprises a cylindrical vessel (3) having at least one inlet, and a raker (12) having at least one raker arm (15, 16) rotating about a vessel axis (9) to accumulate and feed the shavings toward a discharge device (18) formed by at least one transport pump. The raker arm has a spiral transport surface extending from the middle of the vessel toward the vessel edge under partial rotation of the vessel axis. The curved region has inward-facing normals which cross a path region (17) of the vessel base adjacently surrounding the vessel axis to exert peripheral shear forces toward the vessel during rotation of the raker arm. The discharge device draws off shavings in the path region. Preferred Features: The raker has two raker arms arranged 180 deg apart.
