The mounting for a headlight, bonnet or backrest comprises a cylindrical support (1) fitted on to the bodywork. This contains an annular groove (6). A spacer (3) attached to e.g. the headlight carries a tube (5) on the reverse side which can slide in the groove and is fixed in position by a curable liquid or gel. An Independent claim is included for a system consisting of several mountings as described above.
