The bag (1) for the holding of loose substances such as tea and for the dissolving of other substances present in the first substance in a fluid, has three chambers to hold the said substance. The chambers are located in a row, and one chamber (12) is approximately double the size of the two other chambers (13,14). The shape of the chambers in the non-swollen state is flat and rectangular. The bag consists of a piece of filtering material, and when immersed in a liquid swells out to an annular or oval shape.
