Rev-counter has a magnet support arm with at least two opposite polarity magnets displaced relative to each other along the longitudinal axis direction of a rotating shaft. Magnetically conducting ring segments are arranged at a distance from these with equally distributed segments. The segments are equipped with coils with which the magnets interact.
