The packing has an inner packing (3) with a base section installed in an outer packing (2) in an inclined position by at least parts of at least two outer packing walls (21,22 and 23,24) between each of which are included an inner edge (27,28). The inclined position is defined by a diagonal direction (D) in which in the longitudinal dimension (L) of the base element extend both a stiff base component and also a support component in its extension. The support components are orientated in the outer packing in the regions of the diagonally opposite inner edges in the outer packing and absorb supporting force in the diagonal direction. An independent claim is included for a blank of corrugated cardboard for the manufacture of an inner packing.
