Inductively heated vessel (1) has supporting pins (3) formed as vertically extending support strips (4) which guide all statistical and dynamic forces and moments upward toward the edge (5) of the vessel and via a peripheral edge reinforcement (6) into the vessel casing (7). Preferably the support strips have a T-shaped cross-section and lie with the flange surface (10) on the vessel casing. The transition from the vessel casing to the support strips is reinforced with a collar (8).
