The present invention relates to a junction box to be arranged on a floor for holding herein electric and telephonic apparatus, EDP apparatus or the like, characterized in that said junction box comprises a main box-like body, of a substantially parallelepipedal shape, having a top open base and a cover, pivoted to the main box-like body at the bottom base thereof. Along at least two opposite sides of the cover are provided inlet ports for the inlet of the cables of utilizer units to be supplied, whereas, on the two side faces of the main box-like body are provided breakable perforations into which can be introduced connection cables for connecting with the utilizer lines to be connected.
