The multimedia module comprises a cabin (1) within which there is a computer with a games interface. The screen is built in, and a shelf supports a keyboard and mouse. The cabin includes a seat for a child and the whole assembly is mounted on wheels. The multimedia module comprises a cabin (1) within which there is a computer with a games interface. This includes an upright enclosure (4) housing the central processing unit of the computer, and a screen (22) seen through an aperture (21) in the front panel. The computer is also provided with CD ROM and DVD drive units. A projecting shelf (8) supports a keyboard (19) and a mouse (20). Curved struts (5,6) extend from the top of the enclosure to define the space within which a child works, and these are linked to the top of a seat (12). The base of the seat is also linked by struts (2) to the enclosure. Both the enclosure and the seat may be mounted on castors (25,27,28). Loudspeakers are mounted within the enclosure.
