Method for displaying digital images of an organ has the following steps: selection (2) of a zone of interest in an input image; determination (4, 6, 8) of the display parameters as a function of the zone selected and; display (10) of the input image or a part thereof using the determined parameters. An Independent claim is made for a device for display of digital images of an organ with processing blocks and blocks for selection of an area of interest so that it can be conditioned using selected display parameters.
