Gripping head for manipulator robot used for seizing lasts comprises two clamps which can translate on common support, head also allowing transfer of lasts to storage racks
The gripping head (8) is fitted to the end of the articulated arm (7) of a manipulator robot (6) and is used for seizing lasts (4) used as templates in the manufacture of boots. The head comprises two clamps (31) located side by side each adapted to seize a last. The two clamps can translate on a common support so as to allow a variation in their separation. The head also allows the transfer of lasts in pairs between racks (5) where the lasts are stored. Pallets (3) running on a manufacturing line (2) receive a last.
