The waste ejection equipment comprises a floor (16) in which holes (20) are drilled. The cardboard blank is positioned on the floor so that one end of each waste material (14) overhangs a hole edge (44) whilst the rest of the waste is above the hole. An ejector floor (18) comprises a pressure ejector (24) and a clamping ejector (26) on its lower face. The pressure ejector is positioned opposite a portion of the waste at the base of the hole, whilst the clamping ejector is positioned so that when the ejector floor descends it clamps the overhanging portion (22) of each piece of waste on the edge of the corresponding hole, thus creating a pivoting point (44) for the waste. An Independent claim is included for a method of ejecting the pre-cut waste.
