The wheel suspension for a motor vehicle has the wheel pivot (14) pivoted to the apices of two triangular wishbone frames (3,4) by a fork (22) to allow a large movement of the whole wheel and preserve the damping. The two arms of the fork (23) have their upper ends hinged to the ends (24,25) of the upper wishbone (3) to define an upper movement axis. The lower fork ends are similarly connected to the lower wishbone.
