Mobile phone combining the functions of a mobile phone and PDA comprises a housing (1) equipped on its front face with a large sized touch sensitive screen. A detachable cover (5) incorporates a keypad with a fixed number of keys (6) and clicks onto the front face of the housing. When attached the cover delimits a viewing screen corresponding to a predetermined screen arena. Keypad and screen are adapted for a particular application and the terminal configures itself according to the cover that is attached. The terminal can be used without the cover thus enabling use of the whole touch screen or with particular covers suitable for mobile phone or games terminal use.
