Interface device for a medical ultrasonic inspection instrument comprises a tubular body with two sections (1, 2) assembled one on top of the other with a detachable connection. One section comprises tensioning and mounting means for attachment to an ultrasonic instrument, while the other comprises an annular shaping part. The connection means are designed to ensure the leak-tight fixing of a sealing membrane (3), probe and the first section (1) that delimit an area containing an ultrasonic coupling medium.
