PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ant exterminating composition capable of exterminating a swarm of white ants as a whole in a short period, and to provide an exterminating method.;SOLUTION: This white ant exterminating agent comprises a powdery composition containing a compound expressed by general formula (I) (A is expressed by formula, wherein R4 is H or a 1-6C alkyl; and X shows 1 to 5 substituents of which is each identical to or different from the others and is H, a halogen, a 1-6C alkyl or a 1-6C haloalkyl).
