PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping for adapting for the external wall upper end of an outside insulation building with a reinforced concrete or steel framed venting layer and for giving a guarantee for a discharging function of an air permeation layer and a coping not floating up even when it is stirred up, and a coping joint metal fitting connecting the coping in a good appearance.;SOLUTION: A top horizontal plate 3U and a descending plate 3F from the front end are connected to form an angle shape. A low stage horizontal plate 3D extending rearward is connected by the rear rising piece 3B of the top horizontal plate 3U. The inside face of the plate 3F is equipped with a foreward and rearward two-point support angle coping in which an engaging groove for engaging with a fitting piece is formed by a protruding piece 3M from above to the inward side and an insertion groove in which the end of the coping 3 is fittedly inserted. The coping 3 is firmly connected and in a good appearance by a step joint metal fitting 21 connecting the coping end in an inserting and clipping fashion, a projected corner metal fitting 19, a recessed corner metal fitting 20, and a joint 17 using a stepped part D of the building external wall W, the projected corner B, the recessed corner C, and the joint part A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
