PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for isolating the vacuoles of Arabidopsis, by which the vacuoles can be isolated from the cells of the Arabidopsis whose genome information has been clarified, in an intact state in a high purity and in a large amount.;SOLUTION: This method for isolating the vacuoles of the Arabidopsis from the cell of the Arabidopsis comprises preparing the protoplast from the cell of the Arabidopsis, breaking the protoplast with osmotic shock, and then isolating the vacuoles by a density gradient centrifugation method using percoll.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
