SYSTEM FOR MONITORING COIL LOSS CONDITION, AND COIL LOSS MEASURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a loss in an individual super conductive coil or normal conductive coil when operating a coil applied device, to monitor a loss condition in all the coils under the operation of the coil applied device, or to detect a coil portion generating an abnormal coil loss.;SOLUTION: A periphery of the one coil under the operation condition of the coil applied device, all the coils connected with the plurality of coils, or the one portion of the measured coils 1 is surrounded by metal members 2, sensors 3 for measuring pointing vectors P provided as an outer product of a magnetic field vector and an electric field vector are arranged in a plurality of proper objective areas on a circumferential face of the metal members 2, and the coil loss condition in the measured coil 1 is monitored based on values of the pointing vectors P detected by the plurality of sensors 3 to monitor the soundness of the coil device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
