PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flake copper powder for electrically conductive paste used for the formation of a thin and fine electrode, circuit or the like, and to provide a production method therefor.;SOLUTION: In the flake copper powder obtained by plastically deforming the particles of copper powder, and making the same into flakes, e.g., the weight cumulative particle diameter D50 by a laser diffraction scattering type particle distribution measuring method is 10 m, the value of SD/D50 expressed by using the weight cumulative particle diameters D10, D50, and D90 by a laser diffraction scattering type particle distribution measuring method, and the standard deviation SD of the particle distribution measured by a laser diffraction scattering type particle distribution measurement method is 0.55, and also, the value expressed by D90/D10 is 4.5. The flake copper powder can stably be produced by compressing media beads having a fine particle diameter in a high energy ball mill, and plastically deforming the same so as to have a flaky shape.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
