DEODORIZER, DEODORIZING METHOD FOR ORGANIC WASTE USING THE SAME, AND BOX FOR HOUSING ORGANIC WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deodorizer having strong deodorizing effect, especially the deodorizer having very high ability of decomposing an offensive odor regulated as a specified offensive odor substance by an offensive odor control law, and to provide an easy using method for the deodorizer for its use, and a simple box for housing organic waste using the deodorizer.;SOLUTION: The deodorizer contains aerobic thermophiles whose suitable activity temperature is 85°C or higher, the mixed bacterial cells or the cultures, as effective components. The deodorizer is composed of a fermented product generated by aerating and fermenting an organic raw material to which the aerobic thermophiles or the mixed cells or the cultures are added. When the deodorizer is packed in a container, it is housed in an air-permeable and flexible container. For the box for housing the organic waste, the deodorizer packed in the container is attached to the upper part of a container body or the inner side of a lid part thereof and an air vent is provided on the upper part of the container body or its lid part.
