PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transposition segment capable of supporting a hoop force applied to a tape shaped single wire by to an electromagnetic force when used in a magnet for a high magnetic field, to provide a method and a device for manufacturing the transposition segment, and to provide a superconductive application apparatus. PSOLUTION: The transposition segment 10 comprises a plurality of tape shaped wires 18 transposed and twisted in a manner that the tape shaped support body 16 is arranged along the top surface of each wire 18. The wire 18 preferably has a superconductive layer on a metal base material. As the superconductive layer, an oxide superconductor is desirable. The support body 16 preferably has a specific resistance of 1.010SP-7/SPm or higher from an AC loss prevention stand point, and 5.010SP-7/SPm or less from a current bypass efficacy stand point.
