FLAP GATE SET INSIDE OF WATER COLLECTING PIT AND ITS INSTALLATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flap gate with high safety without being required for a person to enter an ocean area or a river course in the case of installation and maintenance of the flap gate.;SOLUTION: The flap gate is equipped with a frame connected to an opening and closing machine and slidable in the vertical direction along a guide and a door body for opening and closing an opening section formed in the frame by oscillating the upper end pivoted on the frame. The guide is extended from a drain outlet formed in a water collecting pit to the above of the water collecting pit to cover the edge section of the drain outlet when the frame reaches the drain outlet by sliding it, and the water collecting pit inside setting type flap gate constituted by circulating or cutting off a current flowing into the drain outlet is installed in an installation hole excavated in a drain on the upstream side from a levee together with the water collecting pit by opening and closing the opening section formed in the frame by oscillating the door body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
