PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine for carved medals that can be used as accessory such as for a cellular phone, a necklace, a key holder, and a method for automatically carving medals.;SOLUTION: A carving machine is built in this automatic vending machine. When a coin or bill is inserted into the automatic vending machine and a start button is pressed according to a message displayed on a monitor, a desired type of medal is selected, placed on a bed of the carving machine, and carved according to the selected picture and the carved medal is taken out of the automatic vending machine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
