PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunshine-shielding self-adhesive which can be applied to a film dispensing with a hardcoat, an already hardcoated film or the like, has a high transmittance and a low reflectance of a light in the visible light region and a low transmittance of a light in the near infrared region, and a sunshine-shielding material obtained by using the same. PSOLUTION: The sunshine-shielding self-adhesive comprises a self-adhesive containing a hexaboride (XBSB6/SB) fine particle, where X is at least one selected from among La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Sr, Ca and Y, and the content of the hexaboride fine particle is 0.01-90 wt% based on the solid content of the self-adhesive. The sunshine-shielding self-adhesive is applied to a substrate comprising a glass or a film-like or plate-like transparent resin to give the sunshine-shielding material. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
