PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber, a glass cloth and a glass powder, capable of being easily processed by using laser; and to provide composite materials of the glass fiber, the glass cloth or the glass powder and a resin, which can be easily subjected to perforating processing using laser.;SOLUTION: In the glass fiber 110, an element easily absorbing the energy of laser light 10 is contained. Consequently, the glass fiber 110 can be also subjected to laser-processing with an energy slightly higher than the energy with which an epoxy resin 72 covering the glass fiber 110 can be subjected to laser-processing. Thereby, the glass fiber 110 and the epoxy resin 72 can be simultaneously subjected to the laser processing with a low energy in comparison with a conventional glass fiber.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
